Religion in politics

Starting with our esteemed A.C.L.U there are so many organizations that attempt to keep religion away from politics as well as keeping religions away from public schools, government buildings, courthouses, Christmas mangers from city parks, prayers at public schools and official functions. 

There is a definite problem with this process however. This only pertains to the Judeo-Christian beliefs. It does not seem to pertain to Muslim beliefs.

A close friend sent me some information to remind me of the values of the Catholic faith that I so proudly embrace. I thank my friend for this, and I don't think he'll protest if I pass this on to my Judeo-Christian friends. Like me, my friend strongly embraces the Catholic faith.

While I am not in complete agreement or compliance of the "man-made" laws of the Catholic church, I am using today's blog to extol the virtues of the religion I proudly embrace.

First of all, when the Catholic church was founded there were no hospitals. Today, one of every five people in the U.S. receive their medical care in a Catholic hospital.

When the Catholic church was founded there were no Catholic schools. Today, the Catholic church teaches more than three million students a day, in more than 250 Catholic colleges and universities. Also, today there are more than 1200 Catholic high schools, and over 5,000 Catholic grade schools.

I must capitalize this and underscore it: EVERY DAY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH FEEDS, CLOTHES, SHELTERS, AND EDUCATES MORE PEOPLE THAN ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD!

It must be noted here that the Obamacare health mandate could very well end all this, and we taxpayers will have to make up the loss.  Also, Catholic adoption services will come to an end.

Here's some facts: there are more than 77 million Catholics in this country, and it takes an estimated 50 million Catholic votes to elect a President.

Our current President, Mr. Obama stated, "this is not a Christian nation". You are wrong Mr. Obama. We are a Christian nation founded on Judeo-Christian values, allowing all religions to worship and practice with freedom from condemnation and bias.

And that's Politics.....oh wait, before I sign off:

Has anyone ever been to a Muslim hospital?
Has anyone ever heard of a Muslim orchestra?
Has anyone ever seen a Muslim band march in a parade?
Has anyone ever witnessed a Muslim charity to feed and clothe the downtrodden?
Has anyone seen a Muslim shake hands with a Muslim Girl Scout?
Have you ever seen a Muslim candy striper?

We must replace Mr. Obama with a President that will honor and respect all religions beside Islam.  It's hard to believe why any one who embraces the Judeo-Christian values would vote for Mr. Obama again. Don't  ever forget over 60% did in 2008.

Don't do it again America. Don't swallow the Kool-Aid this time.

Personalism vs. Capitalism

Today, I got an education in political policies, and now I understand much better just how Mr. Obama is functioning. Who gave me that lesson?  My 16-year old grandson....thanks Chad.

My grandson gave me the definitions of Capitalism, Personalism, Socialism, and Communism.
He even chided me when I told him of my negativity on Socialism. He just said, "Now gramps, Socialism wouldn't work here in the U.S., because we're built on Capitalism, but in some countries, Socialism works fine".  Darn kids are getting so smart today.

A Personalist is someone who rallies the masses and convinces them to support his policies with total disregard for the documented laws of the people, and the constitutional policies of the land as written by the founding fathers. Now who does that start you thinking about?

To completely control the masses a Personalist will actually institute programs whereby he takes income from the wealthy to distribute to the "unfortunate" thereby encouraging the "unfortunate" that he can make life better for them. At times the "unfortunate" will believe and follow the Personalist. 

Another trait of a Personalist is that they will forsake the will of the people they represent for their own rise to power. Very often they will lie to people, distort the truth, and remove themselves from controversial issues that may harm their personal rise to power. Now, are you getting a little better picture of who this reminds you of?

A Personalist very often uses the powers of the media and elitists to help further the power and policies of the Personalist with little or no regard for the masses of the people they govern.  The media and elitists will support the Personalist with supporting lies and distorted truths. This is done to push down the efforts and free will of the people.

The Personalist, along with the support of the media and elitists will continue to "feed" mis-information to the masses, with the hope and belief that the masses will succumb to the will of the Personalist. The Personalist believes that HIS own agenda and policies is all that really matters, and will strive to achieve this by any means necessary, including feeding the masses lies and deception.

A Personalist is usually one with great charisma, likeability, along with great persuasive powers. The Personalist, with these attributes, can easily fool the masses into believing that he can help them. Of course this is just a step to control the masses and subdue their individual free God-given rights.  Still thinking who fits this bill?

As a true Christian American that loves and respects all Americans, I would never compare anyone from the United States of America to the vile and horrible dictator that rose out of Germany in the 1930's.  However, for clarity regarding Personalists, I would like to relay a story from a 92-year old woman from Austria.

I watched the TV interview of this frail woman who recounted the ordeal when Germany arrived in Austria.  She explained that many believed the fallacy that Germany overtook Austria with military force.  The Austrian woman further explained that the German dictator, in his speaking engagements, convinced the citizens of Austria that he could make life better for them.

An election was held, and while many are unaware, the German dictator won the election with an 89% approval of the Austrian people. Of course the rest is history concerning the demise of Austria in the '30's and '40's.

Well known Personalists include Simon Bolivar, Andrew Jackson, Napoleon Bonoparte, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and too many others to list here.  A free society that thrives on competitive Capitalism cannot flourish on the ideologies of Socialism, Communism, and Personalism.

It is the opinion of this writer that Barrack Hussein Obama is a Personalist. 

The question before us all is do we want to afford this Persoanlist another four years in  the White House that belongs to the freedom loving people of this country. It's our choice in 39 more days.

83 polls and counting

I remember, living in California for 35 years, when people would say, "if you don't like the weather, stick around for fifteen  minutes, and it'll change".

Well, with 83 polls out there, if you search hard enough you'll find a poll for your candidate that you like. Then you can say your candidate is winning the race. 

It's hard to imagine their are 83 polls out there informing American people that their poll is the correct one. However, there seems to be some pure facts emerging from the findings of these "credible" polls that some may find interesting.

The liberal progressive Democrats are so frightened of the tightness of this Presidential race that they've decided to skew the polls by asking polling questions to more Democrats than Republicans. If that wasn't bad enough the liberal progressive Democrat poll "masters" are also saying that upwards of 10% more Democrats will vote than Republicans in November.

Their plan is to convince Republicans the race is over, and why even show up to vote because their man, Mr. Obama, has already won the election.  Well that plan may just backfire on them. The very fair and unskewed polls honestly and factually reflect that the Presidential race is dead even.

Now,  the word is getting out to the Republican base, along with the Independents, and even some Democrats on the fence that we need to get the vote out and make sure we succeed in voting for Governor Romney.

I remember in the 2010 mid-term election when the liberal progressive Democrats tried the same technique, and we all know how that turned out.

I implore all Americans to think before you walk into the voting booth. Can you imagine how Mr. Obama is going to operate when he doesn't have to worry about a reelection? He's going to run amok with our taxpayer dollars, ignoring what's important about foreign policy, and vacationing and golfing while our unemployment climbs to over 9% in his first year.

Don't let that happen folks. We owe more to our children and grandchildren. Think

What does "middle out" mean?

With only forty-one days left in the election I'm sure everyone has pretty much made up their mind on how they will vote in November. In fact, rather than attempt to persuade any liberal progressive Democrat to vote for Governor Romney, I would like to ask those that follow the incumbent Mr. Obama a few questions.

This has nothing to do with Governor Romney. I'm not even going to argue who is going to lead us out of the economic crisis we're facing now. I really only know of two votes for sure; my wife and I.  With six children and nine grandchildren we aren't brave enough to give Mr. Obama another four years.

First things first....will someone that wants Mr. Obama reelected please explain his phrase, "we have to grow our economy from the middle out".  What does Mr. Obama mean exactly by that term?  Come on now you strong Obama supporters explain that to me. Forget about personal attacks on Governor Romney. I already know how you feel about him. Just some facts OK?

Just focus on the incumbent Mr. Obama, and explain to this old man just what "middle out" means. I know it would be wonderful to pass out free health care, free welfare with little or no restrictions, extended unemployment for five, even ten years, all home mortgages paid in full, all college loans dismissed. Heck, I'd even like to see free food for everyone for years, and a new car in every garage. That would be great right? I knew you'd agree with me.

I have another question OK?  Who is going to pay for all this? Now before you retort to me that we need to raise taxes on the rich, please get a calculator out and do the math. If you take all, yes 100% of all income from anyone making $200,000. a year you could only run our government for eight days. I don't think that's going to sustain our country...do you?

I'm the first one to admit the incumbent Mr. Obama is a great speaker, is cool and hip, and could probably sell sand to Arabs, and ice in Alaska. He's got all the media support he wants, and the skewed polls show him in the lead in swing states.  He sure scores way up there on likeability.

Here's another question; what has Mr. Obama done in his first term that you would like him to repeat? By the way, let me insert a pure fact here. General Motors is not back as Veep Biden has been spewing out in his campaign speeches. In fact GM owes taxpayers $27.1 billion, and the heavily touted Chevy Volt has stopped production, along with the bailed out battery  manufacturer. 

As for bin Laden's demise, it's not Mr. Obama that deserves the credit. It's Secretary Panetta who gave the final go ahead to the Navy Seals.

In the world of capitalism there are winners and losers, that's true. But what is also true is that all Americans have a God-given right to compete to achieve their dreams through had work, perseverance, and dedication. We all know this cannot be accomplished with government growing by "sharing the wealth".  Mr. Obama has been talking up Socialism with his mantra of "sharing the wealth" since 1998.

It's clear that Mr. Obama is definitely more concerned about his reelection than he is about the future of the American people. The latest facts will most assuredly support this. The day Ambassador Stevens was dragged though the streets of Libya and slaughtered along with three other Americans, where was Mr. Obama? On a plane to Nevada for a fund raiser.

Then he followed up with appearances on the Letterman and Leno shows, with a fund raiser at Jay-Z's and Beyonce's restaurant, and let's not forget his radio interview with the Pimp with a limp. Will someone, anyone, explain to me why he went to see the ladies of The View rather than meet with other world leaders at the NATO summit. You think maybe he'd rather stand in front of his cheering followers than do the job of the American people at the NATO summit?

Mr. Obama feels it's OK to skip out on his UN meeting obligations, and then just show up with a flowery speech reading the teleprompter, and all will be OK. No Mr. Obama we expect more of you than a cool and hip speech. America needs a leader, not a Teflon-in-chief.

Forty one days left folks...think about what Mr. Obama has done these past four years, and then think very strongly if you want him to repeat the same thing again for four more years.

Now what Senator Reid?

Short blog today, but this has to be written. I'm sure those that criticize my blogs will find a way to distort this into some personal attack on Governor Romney, but I guarantee they will not talk about the facts. Oh well, they do provide good comedy.

For several months Democrat Senator Reid accused Governor Romney of not paying any income taxes for years, and also claimed he hasn't even filed his tax returns in years. If that wasn't enough Senator Reid claimed Governor Romney was a cheat,  and is hiding something.

Well, Senator Reid, what are you going to do now? Got a little egg on your face huh? Governor Romney released his 2011 returns, and his returns show he has given more to charity than even your boss Mr. Obama and Veep Biden.

Now before you go into a tirade that he payed only 14.6%, please remember that rate was due to his capital gains rate. He actually paid a tax rate of approximately 30%.

Of course Senator Reid will not apologize to Governor Romney. In fact, he already stated that Governor Romney manipulated the tax structures. Way to go Harry.

A reputable accounting firm has publicly reported that all tax returns for Governor Romney for the past twenty years have been legal and above board. Wouldn't it be nice if the media reported ALL the facts? Ain't gonna happen though.

Actually, I don't really care, nor does anyone else, about Romney's taxes, or where he keeps his money. The operative word is "his" money. However, I really do care about what Mr. Obama is doing with "my" taxpayer money.

$70,000. apology

Radical Muslim extremist have been hijacking, killing, kidnapping, and trying to destroy all who do not believe in the Islamic teachings for several decades.

In 1968 Senator Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim radical.  In 1972 Muslims kidnapped and massacred athletes at the Olympics. In the same year a Pan-Am 747 was hijacked and diverted to Cairo, Egypt where it was blown up....by Muslim radicals.

In 1979 the U.S. Embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim radicals.  In 1983 the U.S. Marie barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim radicals.  In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked, and a 70-year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim radicals.

In 1988 Pan-Am flight 103 was bombed by Muslim radicals.  In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim radicals.  In 1998 U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by by Muslim radicals. On September 11, 2001 four airlines were hijacked by Muslim radicals and flown into the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, and crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.

In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by Muslim radical extremists.  And now we have uprisings in twenty-two middle eastern countries with the horrific death of Ambassador Stevens and three American heroes.

I don't think anyone will dispute that Islamic Muslim radical extremists have been murdering American Christians and Jews for decades. If any of the above doesn't seem factual to any one please tell me where I'm wrong in reporting these facts.

So, what does Mr. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton do? They spend $70,000. of taxpayer dollars to air "apologies" on the Pakistan TV channels. Mr. Obama and Ms. Clinton were communicating how sorry America is to Pakistan for that 14-minute video that, in their estimation, caused all the mid east embassies uprisings.

Mr. Obama sure does a lot of apologizing, especially when there' a Muslim uprising.  And now Mr. Obama continues to blame the stupid video that no one has even seen. It's been on You Tube since May, and only has 1,000 hits. Does Mr. Obama actually believe the Muslim radical extremists that slaughtered Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans, saw that video. I don't think so.

Last Sunday our U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice paraded on five TV talk shows, and claimed the uprisings were caused by the infamous video. Her and Mr. Obama should've checked in with their White House staff. Even Jay Carney, WH press secretary.  finally admitted the uprisings were planned terrorist attacks on the 9-11 anniversary. But still Mr. Obama goes on  talk shows and claims the uprisings were caused by a stupid video that no one saw.

It's clear that Mr. Obama does not want to admit there was a terrorist attack on his watch. He is one big failure on foreign policy, but he will not take responsibility for any foreign policy failures. There was an admission that Mr. Obama has missed more than half of his morning intelligence briefings. What is ironic that since the uprisings Mr. Obama has attended the last five morning intelligence briefings. What does that tell you?

What's more ironic is that these same countries continue to sell us their oil, and continue to receive billions in aid from us.

Folks, I have been saying this in my previous blogs, and I will continue for the next forty-five days that Mr. Obama's main and only priority is getting reelected, not the American people.

However, the polls are showing a slight but constant moving in the polls that reflect Americans may have stopped drinking Mr. Obama's Kool-Aid. Like President Lincoln once said, "you can't fool all the people all the time".  Keep it up folks.

Enough...Enough..Enough

People, people, haven't we all had enough? How can anyone justify allowing this man with his Socialist agenda back into OUR White House for four more years? Hasn't he done enough damage the first four years?

Every time I write a blog with pure facts about what this man has done, and what the CBO and economic advisers are saying what will happen the next four years if he's reelected, all I get is personal attacks on Governor Romney and yes, even me.

No one can give me any "wish" they would like Mr. Obama to repeat if he's reelected. They just site how much money Romney has. Who cares how much money he has? FDR, JFK, Kerry had more money than Governor Romney, but the media won't tell you that. Heck, we don't know..maybe Mr. & Mrs. Obama have million in off-shore accounts. The media sure won't tell us. They won't even give us his college grades. Governor Romney has never spent any of my money, but Mr. Obama sure has, and continues every day.

Has anyone ever looked up the belief of "spread the wealth", or "wealth distribution"? That is a pure unadulterated Socialist agenda definition. No other way around it. So how does the progressive liberals and the media refute this?  They try to discredit Governor Romney for accusing Mr. Obama of attempting to turn our country in a nanny state.

Mr. Obama, along with his minions, and with the support of the media,  is telling Americans lies upon lies, and with the Attorney General on board with all their lies no one can do anything about it. People, the deck is stacked against us. If we don't stop this President's agenda it will only take two years into his second term, and we may be in the throes of a complete nanny state. Can you say The United States of Greece, and then later The United States of Islam?

Mr. Obama refuses to meet with Israel's B. Netenyau, his jobs council, his cabinet, or attend his daily intelligence briefings, but he has time for David Letterman, a trip to Nevada for a fund raiser, and some personal schmoozing with Jay-Z and Beyonce.  People do we want a Celebrity-In-Chief or do we want, and need a leader to get us out of our economic and foreign state of affairs?

Now we discover that Mr. Obama will meet with Egypt's Muslim leader next week, and yet he still won't meet with Israel's Benjamin Netenyau.  What does that tell you? To me it means he has more allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood than he does to our best mid east ally.

As I'm writing this it has now been proven that the 9-11 attacks on our embassies were pre-planned attacks, and not the result of some stupid 14-minute movie. That is straight from Mr. Olsen, director of  the national terrorism council. And what is spokesman Jay Carney saying..."it's still under investigation". There is now strong speculation that a Camp Gitmo detainee was behind the attacks. Still under investigation huh?

 Want some frosting on the cake? MSNBC has been attacking Governor Romney's "truth" statement about Americans receiving entitlements, but they won't broadcast a video/audio of Mr. Obama avowing that he is a strong believer of wealth distribution, which we all know is Socialism.  MSNBC is saying it isn't authenticated, and could be a falsely edited tape production.  Is that a joke or what?

Now the CBO is stating that in the year 2016 Obamacare will cost millions of middle class Americans approximately $1,200. a year in a penalty tax if they don't purchase a health care plan. Yes, $1,220. per individual.  We know what that's for....it's to cover the millions that will be put on the Obamacare health care plan that can't pay for it, and are on Mr. Obama's entitlement programs.

Is anyone disputing that Mr. Obama has nothing to brag about or run on? No, so he's doing the only thing he can, and that is to personally attack Governor Romney. Mr. Obama won't even have a press conference to explain the controversy over the mid east attacks, but has so much time to be a charismatic celebrity in chief. 

Mr. Obama, here's a tip....Governor Romney is not the commander-in-chief...you are. Get up and lead, and inform America what is going on about foreign policy and our economic downturn. What are you waiting for?

No, no, no...we cannot allow this man to continue what he's doing now for another four years.
Of course the critics that don't agree with me will start the name calling on me and let it slither on to Governor Romney. That's the only way progressive liberals can deal with the problems we have facing us now, or they'll continue to blame Bush for what Mr. Obama is doing now.

Mr. Obama criticizes Governor Romney for wanting to lower taxes on the people who create jobs, and yet Mr. Obama wants to raise taxes on everyone making over $200,000 a year. If that comes to pass our government will raise $80.Billion a year. That will cover only eight days of interest on our debt. Yeah, like that will get us out of debt real quick.

I love this country, and I have deep respect for the office of the Presidency, but I just cannot respect the man, the human being that presides in that office now. Therefore I have decided that for the next 47 days I will not write "President" Obama, but refer to him as Mr. Obama.

Please American people I implore you all to do a lot of soul searching as well as your own fact finding. Do you want to give Governor Romney a respected and proven business man the opportunity to aggressively attack the domestic and foreign policies we have now, or do you want to  reelect a man that has no plan, repeat what he's done the past four years, and will certainly take us further down the path of demise? Think about it folks.

Way to go Mitt!

I've noticed that when my blogs contain pure facts that can easily be researched and verified I never get any comments from my critics. Well, I do get a few "names" like idiot, lunatic, and other names that I'm sure the News-Herald would not want me to print.

I've also noticed when I offer some personal opinions supporting the Romney-Ryan ticket boy do I get the negative comments from my "friendly" critics.  These comments are so outrageous that I have to thank them for the comedy they provide.

So today, I thought I'd just have some relaxing times, get away from facts, and just offer my strong opinions on why another four years of Obama will lead us to an economic downward spiral  we may never recover from. Then if you add the mess he's created in his foreign policy agenda we're gonna be in very bad shape. With all the mid east uprisings this weekend can you guess what our President was doing? Well according to White House spokesman, Jay Carney, "the President was just relaxing...watching the football games on TV". Flying to Vegas, and being on the Letterman show must have really wore him out.

First of all, way to go Mitt. What you said yesterday is what most hard-working American have believed in for a long time. You are absolutely correct, and I hope you keep driving your point home.  President Obama has the entitlement community believing that if Romney is elected in November all their "freebie entitlements" will go away. Gee, that means some of them will have to get off the couch and get a job.

Governor Romney wants to protect the hard-working people in this country, while President Obama ridicules hard-working people by stating, "they just cling to their guns and religions".
President Obama has been proving this since January, 2009. Look at what he's done since he's been in office; $5.6 trillion added to the national debt, highest welfare/food stamps disbursement since the great depression, and maybe the most horrifying is for every single job created under President Obama three jobs are lost. Did I mention unemployment has been over 8% for the past 42 months? My critics probably forgot that didn't you?

Who really cares how wealthy Governor Romney is? Most people don't care how much money he has, or where it's kept. It's his money, not the taxpayers'. The only money Mr. President knows how to spend is other people's wealth. Did he ever have a job that had an F.I.C.A. deduction on it? I think not.

Of course Governor Romney has an uphill battle. Mr. Obama has the media in his back pocket, and he's in the back pocket of the Muslim leaders in the middle east. He calls Muslim leaders, "his highness", would rather appear on the David Letterman show than meet with Benjamin Netanyahu from Israel. Hey, he won't even visit the land of our greatest mid east ally, Israel.

President Obama's minions get to go on TV and say anything they want, including outrageous lies, and they don't have to account to anyone about it. They know the media will protect them.
The New Black Panthers have already announced they intend to be at all the voting sites in the swing states.  Whenever our President and/or his minions, starting with Biden, make a fool out of themselves the media protects them, and won't broadcast it at all.

Today, it was discovered that our great Attorney General, Eric Holder, is soliciting a taxpayer's group, Media Matters, to help Obama destroy Fox News and any other organization that disagrees with the President.  This President is not just interested in getting reelected, no he wants to become President of the World, or worse, Dictator of the World.

Want some proof of this? When Mr. Obama "bailed out" General Motors with taxpaying money he stated, "I have no interest in running General Motors", however yesterday General Motors asked the Mr. Obama to sell their General Motors holdings and $27.1 billion debt, so that there would be no government holding. Yeah, you guessed it.....Mr. Obama said NO. Now what does that tell you?

I'm already smiling because I can already see the comments my critics are going to write. Wish they would save their typing and time. I don't even read past the first few words, but they do provide a good comic relief for me at times.

I do wish however, that my critics would provide some good data for me to read, instead of jealous comments about Governor Romney's wealth, name calling, personal attacks against him and his family.  How about some really good data, like what has President Obama done these past four years that you'd like him to repeat. 

I just hope Governor Romney continues to go on the attack. He's scaring the President because Mr. Obama has nothing at all to run on. Way to go Mitt...keep it up.

Fill 'er up...again?

Just a short blog today, but it's about one of the most serious problems every American is facing. No, it isn't about solar power, or wind turbines. It's about that that liquid stuff we put into our cars everyday.  It's called GASOLINE.

I would like to write a few facts, and then ask some questions. I invite anyone, including my most adament critics to answer the questions. Forget that you're a Republican, Democrat, or whatever you believe in. Just please give me your take on the subject OK?

First of all, when President Obama took office in January, 2009 the price of a gallon of gasoline was $1.85.  Today, the national average is $3.86 a gallon, and in some areas of the country gasoline is over $4.00, and climbing.

We buy millions of gallons of oil everyday from mid east countries that we also send billions to in foreign aid every year. By the way these countries, for the most part, hate America and our way of life. I've always believed these countries are going to hate us anyway, so why continue to send them money. 

So, for further factual news, first we continue to buy oil from countries that hate us, and then we send them billions in foreign aid every year. The real frosting on the cake is that we borrow money from China, with very high interest, to continue sending billions in foreign aid to these mid east countries that continue to hate our western civilization.

With the economic crisis that our country is experiencing now I need to ask questions that we all know the answers to. First, why are we not drilling for oil here in the contiguous United States, and in Alaska? Secondly, why won't the President open the Keystone Pipeline?
And thirdly, why are we not erecting for drilling platforms in the Gulf of Mexico?

Drilling for our own oil, building refineries, and drilling platforms could create a million or more jobs. Is anyone going to dispute that this would be great for our economic recovery?

We have more oil under our own soil here and in Alaska that is in the middle east. Wouldn't it be great not to be dependent on the middle east for our own oil resources? Does anyone out there have the answer as to why we're not drilling here?

In North and South Dakota oil is being drilled on private property and these states are doing great. Unemployment there is less than 5%. Related jobs are being created, and economically the two states are flourishing. 

There are many, many unanswered questions as to why President Obama and his administration is prohibiting oil drilling right here in the good old U.S.A. There is even some strong speculation, that I won't write here because it is just speculation, as to why the President wants us to continue to be dependent on the middle east for our oil.

How about this scenario: Immediately start drilling for oil here and in Alaska, end the middle east oil dependency, also stop sending billions every year in foreign aid to countries that hate us and slay our military and our ambassador. It's nice to think what this would do for our economy. Give me your take on this please.

So, all you critics of my blogs out there, please answer these questions for me OK? But if you should come to the same conclusion I do then maybe you'll stop the Romney bashing, and think on your own before you walk into the voting booth in fifty days.

The day Democrats took over

Today, I'm going to write nothing but pure facts, and I encourage anyone who reads this not to take my word for any of of my findings.  I encourage anyone who reads this to do their own objective research and look up the data I'm writing about. Any of these facts can be found.

The real date that the Democrats took over was not January, 2009. It was January 3, 2007. That's the day the Democrats officially took control of the House and the Senate. I'm hoping that up to this point all can agree right?

More facts that can easily be verified as truth is on Janary 3, 2007 the DOW closed at 12,621.77.  The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%, and the unemployment was a mere 4.6%.  Another verifiable fact was under Bush there were 52 consecutive months of job growth.
Again, please don't take my word for any of this stuff. Take the time to look up these facts on your own. It's public information.

Also on January 3, 2007 Democrat Congressman Barney Frank took control of the House Financial Services Committee, and Democrat Senator Chris Dodd took control of the Senate Banking Committee. Now does anyone remember in what areas were the economic meltdown in that occurred fifteen months later? Well the answer is in the Banking & Financial services area.

Bills were passed by the Democrat-controlled House & Senate to spend nearly $6.trillion dollars of taxpayers' money in toxic loans into Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This was under the guise that all Americans should be able to fulfill their American dream by owning their own home.

Another piece of factual data that can easily be verified is that President Bush asked the House & Senate seventeen, yes seventeen times to stop Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and reform the bill. History will report the House & Senate refused President Bush's requests. Can anyone guess who benefited behind Frank and Dodd with the third highest pay-off from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? If you guessed Senator Obama you would be correct. Senator Obama also voted against the reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

When homeowners could not sustain payments on housing loans they should not have received in the first place the collapses emerged; foreclosures, banking losses, and lending institutions shutting down. We all know what happened next; the start of enormous and uncontrollable  unemployment.

I don't care if you're a Republican, Democrat, or Independent these are pure unfiltered facts, and please don't take my word for any of it. But I caution  you to please look these facts up before you challenge me. I'm the one that will be "loaded for bear".

I'm sure everyone knows that congressional budgets do not come from the White House. Budgets originate and are passed through the House & Senate. We all know who controlled the budget process in 2008 and 2009; and their leaders were Pelosi and Reid.

One of the many reasons I will always feel that President George W. Bush is a class act is that the economic demise started on his watch, and even though he fought the House & Senate  against increased spending, he takes full responsibility, and never once side-stepped the blame. He never once uttered that he was working with a Democrat House & Senate.

In President Bush's last year in office House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid bypassed President Bush entirely, and passed continuous resolutions to keep government running by spending until Barrack Obama was sworn in. And if you want to know what Senator Obama was doing at the that time, well he was voting for all the spending increase bills.

Then, as the ultimate slap in the face to blame on the Bush administration, newly sworn in President Obama signed the bill to complete 2009.

Yes, President Obama inherited a deficit all right, the 2007 deficit, initiated by the Democrat House & Senate. Prior to that  time the deficit was the lowest in five years, and in their fourth straight decline. After that the Democrat controlled House & Senate took control of spending.
The rest is what we call a $16.Trillion history lesson.

So, in actual facts what President Obama inherited, he inherited from himself. If our President would speak the truth he would say, "I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I expanded that deficit four-fold since January, 2009.

In signing off today's blog let me mention for the fourth time to all Republicans, Democrats, Independents, etc., please don't take my word for any of these facts. Do your own research as I did. Let me know if you disagree with any of my facts and figures. I'd be glad to read your take on it.

Now it's Mitt's fault

After listening to White House spokesman, Jay Carney, and the media attack on Governor Romney when they thought their mic was off, I'm convinced that Governor Romney was actually behind the embassies attacks.

Of course I say this sarcastically, and with tongue in cheek. President Obama and his administration are just doing what they normally do, and that is to distance themselves from taking any responsibilities for the crisis in the middle east. He's even go so far as to throw his Secretary of State, Hillary, under the bus for not supplying enough security at the embassies. Certainly not his responsibility. He had a plane to catch to Vegas for a fund raiser.

President Obama and his reelection staff are so afraid of Governor Romney they are just doing what Rahm Emanuel stated a long time ago when he was in the White House, "never let a crisis go to waste".  Instead of focusing on the Muslim extremists uprisings in the middle east, President Obama had no response at all for the initial fifteen hours. Then when the President did speak, he attacked Mitt Romney for "speaking too soon". President Obama further alluded that maybe Governor Romney's comments sparked other mid east uprisings.

Will someone please wake up our beloved President and tell him there were thirty-one uprisings in the middle east on 9-11, and not a one of the Muslim radical extremists cared about what Governor Romney said. They didn't even hear or listen to him. No, Mr. President the responsibility falls on your shoulders. You're the commander-in-chief, not Mr. Romney.

There were attacks on American mid eastern diplomats four days before 9-11, and warnings were issued. Now if the President had been attending the morning intelligence meetings he would have discovered this, and maybe, just maybe he would have sent military support to our embassies, taking into account that it was a 9-11 anniversary.

Even our beloved media went into full protection mode and insulated our Teflon President by attacking Governor Romney for his comments. The media never questioned the President about his "tolerant" comments. Instead the media "ganged up" on Governor Romney, even when they were caught doing it with an off-mic minute.

If all of that wasn't bad enough,  starting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton down to White House spokesman Jay Carney, they reported that the uprisings in the middle east were due to a ridiculous film, that was made in July, only viewed by a about ten people in the very small Los Angeles theater, and had less than one thousand hits on You-Tube.

I'd like to get a survey of how many of the Muslim radicals that killed our Ambassador and three other Americans even heard of this movie, let alone view it. To blame the uprisings that led to slayings and damages in our American embassies on a movie alone is a complete and total move on our President to Teflon himself from any responsibility in these matters.

Does our President and his administration care about the murders of our own Americans citizens, the burning of the American flags, and the attacks on 31 sites in the middle east,  or is he just dodging these issues by jumping on a plane to Vegas, appearing on the David Letterman show, and schmmoozing with Jay-Z and Beyonce?

In June, 2009 our President visited some middle eastern countries claiming that he was going to change the relationships between Christians, Jews, and Muslims. He's changed them all right, and not for the better. His actions now prove that he wants to weaken our country, while strengthening the middle east.  Mr. President, you must stop trying to strip the strength from our military. Remember there is peace in strength, and having not strength in peace is like music without instruments.

The media will continue to attack Governor Romney or blame some stupid anti-Islam video, but you can bet the media will not report that the president of Egypt says this is a terrorist act, and in no way is the fault of some stupid video. As I'm writing this there is live news  streaming in that the Muslim radical extremists have infiltrated Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan and killed two U.S. Marines. Is the White House still blaming the stupid movie?

For the sake of our great country, and the future of our children and grandchildren we cannot allow  this President to continue to avoid the responsibilities of the office of the President, and care more for his reelection than the American people.  We have a chance to stop him in just fifty-one days.

Let's stand together

I got a strong shot of humility in my veins yesterday as I watched the remains of Ambassador Stevens and three other slain Americans arrive in our country. Starting with the man I see in the mirror every morning when I shave, I'd like all of us to look deep inside ourselves at this critical time in our nation's history.  It may be the most critical time we've yet to face.

First, I want to thank the News-Herald for giving me the opportunity to join their media lab and write my daily blogs. Some of my blogs have even appeared in the news sections of the daily News-Herald publications. I also want to thank my friends and family that have offered their support and praise of my blogs.

Today, I'm feeling so introspective and humble I'd even like to thank the critics that oppose the views in my blog and offer their own side of their views.  Sounds crazy I know, but this is a time when we have to forget we're Liberal Democrats or Conservative Republicans. We have to starting thinking as AMERICANS.

Yes, I'm a strong believer that the Romney-Ryan ticket can do a better job in solving our country's economic and foreign policy problems better than the Obama-Biden team, as there are strong Liberal Democrats believers that think our President is better suited.  I'm also smart enough to believe that with only 52 days before the election my blogs are not going to sway any Democrats into voting Republican, just like the Democrats, at this point, are not going to sway any Republicans.

Then I ask why is there so much negativity and vitriol spouting out from both sides of the aisles.
Just yesterday a Republican Senator likened the Chicago teachers on strike to the Muslim radicals that attacked our mid east embassies.  An African-American Democrat Congressman accused Republicans of wanting to take our country back to Jim Crow laws.

Really, is this any way to work together to solve the problems that face our country today?  Recently a Democrat friend of mine asked, "why do you care...you're 77...none of this matters to you...you'll be dead and gone before any of this hits."  I just reminded him that my wife and I have six children, and nine grandchildren between us. That's all I had to say. My friend never responded.

There is so much negativity coming from both sides of the aisle, that our judgment gets clouded much of the time. There was a quote from the last Democrat President that I voted for, JFK, that I'll never forget. In his 1960 inauguration, when I was just a toddler of twenty-five, JFK said, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". Why are we forgetting this great question?

America is the greatest country ever, and we always find a way to emerge out of our problems. 
We'll find a way to survive the dilemma we're in now. We can't elect one man as President, then say, "well, it's all yours...you've got four years to fix this". The American people are the only ones that are going to fix our problems, and we can only do that as Americans; not Democrat or Republicans.

The blame game is actually fun to play right? Because it's easy to spin a problem and blame the other guy. Just remember using these excuses all the time just stops us from jumping in to help solve the problems.

Again, a big thank you to the News-Herald for giving me a window to express my Republican conservative views, and a heartfelt thanks again to family, friends, and yes even critics.

Tomorrow, I'll go back to opposing Mr. Obama's policies, and supporting Governor Romney in my blogs. Today, I just love family and country more than I love being a Republican.  Wouldn't it be nice if more felt that way.

Under the bus you go

Our President is so self-centered that he can't even stand to have his buddy Joe Biden out-gaffe him. Is it true that the largest personal monthly expense for Mr. Obama  is his purchase of gallons of Teflon that he pours himself on a daily basis?

This President will not hesitate to throw anyone, and I mean anyone, under the bus before he takes any type of responsibility for the conditions that exist here on the home front, or any issues on foreign policy.

He accuses Governor Romney of "shooting from the hip before he takes the time to load his ammunition". This is the same Mr. Obama that has skipped more than half of his morning intelligence briefings. If he would have attended the morning White House briefing forty-eight hours before the current middle east uprisings in Libya and Egypt, he would've discovered that  attacks on our embassies were in the works.

Instead he chose to spend time on the radio with "Pimp with a limp", asking the Pimp-man for "a little magic to help him". Then he skips another briefing to get on Air Force One to travel to Nevada for a fund-raiser. Frosting on the cake? An appearance on the Dave Letterman show gets priority over an important meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel. By the way does anyone know how many times Mr. Obama has visited Israel since he's been in office? Want the answer?.....ZERO. Yes, President Obama has yet to visit our best mid east ally.

But Mr. Obama thought it was effective to travel to countries in the middle east apologizing for America and giving a soft "marshmellow" approach to "let's all get along". What a waste. I rather like what President Reagan's mantra was...."there is peace in strength...we must let the world know we embrace peace, but America has the best and strongest military force on the planet". We spoken Gipper.

Recently during an Hispanic radio interview our President stumbled on and on when he was asked if he considered Egypt an ally. Finally he said no, and the very next day his staff had to walk back his statement. This President has done so much "walking back" that he's learning Michael Jackson's moon walk.

He just continues to lather himself up with Teflon and "everyone else is to blame". Really, he even criticized our Secretary of State Ms. Clinton for not having proper security at our embassies. Had our President attended some of his morning intelligence briefings maybe he would have found out more about these programmed situations before they took place, and maybe Ambassador Stevens would be alive today.

The truth is this President has no leadership experience at all. Have you noticed when he gets on the campaign stump he just bloviates in generalities. He booms his loud voice to the crowds as he figuratively passes out the kool-aid. Please notice that he never offers any specifics about our county's failing economy or his failing foreign policies.

While walking to our car after seeing the documentary "2016" I said to my wife, "what scared me the most about that documentary was the cartoon that showed an imaginry gate around the middle east with an imaginary barbed wire fence squeezing Israel...and this President continues to turn his back on Israel, while he claims we should level the playing field in the world".

Ironically, last night on the TV screen a map was shown depicting all the uprisings in the middle east embassies; Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Tripoli, Sudan, even Lebanon.  And all these countries surround our ally Israel.  Riots are continuing as I'm writing this, and our President is more interested in his reelection than making definite decisions. Our Teflon-in-chief is leaving the decision making to others, so if anything fails he can smile, wave and blame others.

Another piece of irony is I've yet to know of one progressive-Liberal-Democrat that has gone to see the movie "2016". They'll just scream that it's one big lie without even seeing it. What they would find out if they see it is that all of Mr. Obama's comments are in his own voice. All the comments and facts about him are from published documents and credible people who have known Barrack Obama Sotero all his life.

What's so tragic these past three days is that ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, and (MS)NBC, has spent more time attacking Governor Romney on his statements than questioning the stance that our President is or is not taking. Right now Governor Romney is acting more Presidential than Mr. Obama. Mitt is not afraid to take a position and show leadership. We need this folks.

These issues and facts are what the Americans have to research before they walk into the voting booth in November.  And, oh yeah, go see the movie "2016".

Leading from behind....really?

I'm not an Obama birther. As I've said in my previous blogs; I really don't care where Mr. Obama was born. I just care where he lives now...in OUR White House.

However, after seeing the documentary "2016", and watching the President's actions, or lack thereof, concerning the embassies attacks,  I firmly believe our President is a strong Muslim sympathizer. 

There have been attacks on U.S. embassies in Libya, Egypt, and Yemen. Our ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were slaughtered by rebel Muslim forces, and what does the President do? Well, for the most part absolutely nothing. He strolled out to the rose garden and reminded us that Americans should be more tolerant, and just, "wait and see".

Really Mr. President, chaos is erupting in our middle east embassies, Americans were killed, and many more may follow, and your only answer is "wait and see".

Governor Romney had it right. Your administration is acting disgraceful by suggesting Americans are intolerant of Muslims. You attacked Governor Romney by accusing him of "shooting from the hip before knowing all the facts". What facts are you waiting for?

At the very least Governor Romney showed some strong Presidential leadership, even with an open mic uncovered reporters at Romney's press conference plotting to attack him for his comments about the embassies attacks. Romney showed leadership, and all you could do was stand next to Hillary and bloviate on how we must "wait and see". 

You have missed many more morning intelligence briefings than you have attended since you've been in office, but manage to golf over one-hundred times. Instead of attending the morning briefing the day Libya was attacked and ambassador Stevens was killed you were on Air Force One for a Nevada fund raiser.

On the very same day you refused to meet with the Prime Minister of our closest Middle East ally, Mr. Netenhu, you booked an appearance on the David Letterman show. At a time when a war between Israel and Iran may break out any time now, it's obvious you don't have the foresight or support to sit down with the Israel Prime Minister to offer America's support to him. Does this have anything to do with you being a Muslim sympathizer?

You have the audacity to condemn Governor Romney of not having any foreign policy experience, and yet what experience do you have? Your answer is that as the leader of the free world, just skip morning intelligence briefings and go golfing or campaigning and not say anything. What a leader you are.

Mr. President, with the media in your back pocket and their personal attacks and lies on Governor Romney, the polls are showing that the media may just squeeze you into OUR  White House for another term.

I'm just so curious.  It's a given CBO fact that if you do get reelected there will be at the least a $4. Trillion national debt increase while you're in office. Poverty will increase, food stamp issuing will rise even more, unemployment will rise to 10% and Bernanke will continue to turn on the money printing machine. The true job creators  and investors will tightly squeeze their money and there will be no job creations. Are you going to rely on your entitlement communities to create job? I think not.

When foreign policy leadership is at an all time need, you refuse to take a stand and lead. You accused Governor Romney of using the embassies tragedies for political gains.  You sure have a short memory Mr. President. Do you recall the numerous times you attacked Senator McCain, and President Bush for the Iraq war, strongly focusing on the nine American soldiers who were killed in the Iraq war? I guess it's another case of double standards. But don't worry the media will cover your back side.

To continue my curiosity Mr. President, When you're well into your second term, and our domestic economy is in shambles, and our foreign policy crumbles beyond repair, just who are you going to blame then? By then blaming Bush just isn't going to fly. Maye you can blame the previous guy....wait that would be you.

Do you think the media will still be in your back pocket as things start to crumble and their ratings plummit faster than yours? Maybe you can blame the media then. 

People, after the middle east tragedies these past twenty-four hours please go see the documentary "2016", and listen to the words of Barack Obama himself in the documentary. You'll starting putting things together and think twice when you enter the voting booth in 54 days.

Are you going to be better off?

The best the DNC speech makers could offer the American people was that President Obama was dealt such a fierce blow by former President Bush that no one, not even the great Bubba Clinton, could've dug us out of the mess. This in Bubba's own words.

So the mantra coming from the Obama campaign is that you are now better off than you were four years ago.  Really?  Just who, Mr. President, is better off since you took office?

In the President's first two years he had a full house, yes Democrat controlled House & Senate, and Obamacare is all he has to show for it. 

Well, I do stand corrected. He does have some things to show for it; $5.6 trillion increase to our national debt in a little over three years, with a $1.6 trillion due for 2012. Are you people going to vote for a man who will raise the national debt to $20 trillion if he's given another four years?

Never mind what he inherited, look what he's done. When is this President going to take responsibility for what he's done these past four years? You can't convince the American people that General Motors "is alive" according to Joe Biden. General Motors still owes the taxpayers $27.2 billion dollars, Chevy Volt has stopped production, and was costing taxpayers $49,000. per car. 

The President won't mention Solyndra and the other solar powered companies and the auto manufacturer in Finland that he gave our taxpayers' money to that are now defunct. This was done with the $875. billion dollar stimulus money that he took from us with a promise that unemployment would be reduced to 6%. Yeah, we're now at 8.1% with 368,000 leaving the work force last month.

Let's not forget bin Laden. The truth is the President had to be convinced three times before he gave the go-ahead, and more truth is that Panetta was really behind it. There were so man "I"'s and "me"'s when announcing bin Laden's assassination. The President hardly mentioned the brave and courageous Navy Seals that risked their lives on the successful mission.

Did everyone notice the President at his acceptance speech in Charlotte? Oh, he looked great, and his speaking tactics were great. His loud voice was so effective for his base.  However, was there any substance?  Did he say anything specific about his plan for the next four years? It was just the same broken promises he made in 2008.

All indications point to the President doing exactly the same thing in the next four years that he's done in his first four years. I won't go into the areas I've written about in previous blogs.
You know that already; unemployment, food stamps, welfare, raising taxes, robbing Medicare, etc. I've written about that many times, so I ask you....do you want a President that offers nothing to help our economy if he's reelected?

In other words, never mind the arguement   about being better off than you were four years ago; take a quick look at where you'll be four years from now if this man is reelected, and he continues to do the same thing. Remember what Einstein said, "the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over while expecting different results", and you can expect the President to do a lot of repeating.

I'm a Catholic Italian-American, and GOD has been a powerful source in all areas of my life.
I was heartbroken when I witnessed the "split" of votes by the Democrat delegates strongly yelling and screaming to remove GOD from their convention. The TV camera was focused on two Arab-Americans that seem to lead the charge.  When I think of all the Arab countries we give aid to and buy their gasoline I was near tears.

Another reason I believe this President wants to remove GOD from our vocabulary in the next four years is that today, on this solemn day when we honor our 9-11 heroes at ground zero, this President is a having a "service", not a PRAYER service, just a service. Are you going to put a man in OUR White House that probably doesn't believe in GOD? Oh, he may utter "God Bless", but that's only for votes.

 Do Americans want to vote for a man who claims to small business people, "you didn't build that...someone did that for you"?  Of course it's easy for a man who's never sacrificed to build a business. Actually this President has never run a business and his only job was as a community organizer. He doesn't even have the business sense to begin drilling for oil here, and open up the Keystone Pipeline. Instead he wants to live with $4.00/gallon andbuy from the middle east countries that hate us, and buy from Brazil, Columbia, and Mexico. Good business sense? NO!

He has surrounded himself with almost 40 czars and many advisers to make decisions for this "teflon" President. He hasn't met with his Cabinet or Jobs Council since last January. Are Americans going to vote for a smooth talker, instead of a strong leader who makes decisions about leading America out of our economic crisis. We need a strong business leader who's not afraid to make strong business decisions to get jobs created; no entitlement creation.

I know Americans have noticed the topics the President wants to discuss while he's currently campaigning. It's almost the exact speeches he gave in 2008, the only change was the name from McCain to Romney. He offers no plan, no new ideas, and definitely no leadership. He just wants to detract from the real issues with his constant attack on his opponents.

So, again, I ask all Americans to not only think about being better off now than you were four years ago, but also look at where you'll be four years from now if Mr. Obama is reelected.

Mitt-Paul, c'mon, you have to attack

With only fifty-seven days left in this crucial Presidential race it's time for you two to throw out all the stops, and start attacking. GOD knows, you have more than enough ammunition.

Senator McCain lost the election in 2008 because he wanted to play the nice guy role. Look where it got him. Fifty-two percent of Americans drank Obama's kool-aid. Obama himself said it when he thought the mic was off and he whispered to Reid, after thunderous applause on his campaign trail in '08, "look at them...they're drinkin' the kool-aid".

It's going to be a close race, but if you sit back and refuse to retaliate against all the lies, broken promises, and lack of leadership and transparency coming out of this administration you're going to lose.

In 2008 Senator McCain refused to mention Obama's association with Reverend Wright, Bill Ayres, Louis Farrakhan, mobster Rezko, and others,  along with his refusal to show America his college transcripts. McCain wanted to run a decent above board nice cordial respectful race. Senator McCain's mistake was that he thought Obama was going to do the same. Look where that got him. At the short end of 52-46 percent votes.

Please Governor Romney, Congressman Ryan don't make the same mistake. As I wrote earlier, you have so much good strong ammunition at your disposal to use.  You can start with the President's broken promises.

Remember when candidate Obama in '08 promised Americans complete and total transparency? He even promised all negotiations would be on C-Span. We haven't seen one yet.
He also promised there would be no lobbyists or special interest groups in his appointed staffs.
Well, we all know that was a lie. He promised he would reach across the aisle, and what did he do with Obamacare? He went behind closed doors, not allowing any Republicans in the meetings, and with the Democrat-controlled House & Senate passed his horrendous plan that Americans do not want.

I wrote in a previous blog that  you need to get tougher Governor Romney. Why won't you retort against those that condemn you for not publishing your latest tax return? You should respond by announcing that when the President releases his college grades you'll release your tax returns. Now that will silence the President and the media.

You're allowing them to attack you because you're a wealthy successful business man. Why not reflect the well established Democrat leaders who were, and still are extremely wealthy? That list includes John Kerry, FDR, JFK, and many others. The media and the White House never condemn those individuals.  You should point out that you didn't use any taxpayer's money to attain your wealth, and really most Americans are more worried about their own financial status than yours. You should use that.

You are being criticized for not having a plan to help America out of the economic crisis. You must tout your five-point plan, especially  you number one plan of drilling for oil and energy to stop our dependence on other countries when we have so much resource right here.

Now, for someone who has no plan, it's truly our own President. I've asked Democrat friends of mine to tell me of one specific plan the President gave in his speech at the DNC. No response, except to blame Bush. What kind of answer is that? You haven't spoken yet that in President Bush's last two years and President Obama's first two years there was a Democrat controlled House & Senate.  You never bring up the infamous Dodd-Frank housing debacle that put our housing industry in a tailspin that we've haven't recovered from and never will.

President Obama is completely telling mis-truths in his explanation of your version and his version of Medicare. He is robbing Medicare of $716.billion dollars, yet he gets away with spouting out that you are trying to rob Medicare with your voucher plan.

Why don't you respond that your voucher plan is not for anyone 55 or over, and for the rest of Americans it's purely voluntarily. On the other hand Obama's plan will be to remover millions of poor seniors from Medicaid and place them on a mandatory, yes mandatory plan that is Government controlled. You need to tell Americans about that.

Governor Romney-Congressman Ryan many Americans drink the kool-aid regarding Obama's job creation. You need to have Americans understand that for every one job that is created, four are leaving the job force, or on welfare.the President blames Bush for all the lost jobs in 2008, yet after an enormous $875.Billion stimulus package, and a promise of 6% unemployment, we jumped to over 40 months of 8%+ unemployment.

President Obama wants all to believe how he's helping people. The truth is he has increased welfare/food stamps/unemployment more than any other President since the Great Depression.
Ask Americans to think where the money is coming from to sustain these programs. It's coming from hard-working people some small business owners that built their own businesses without the help of the Government.

Governor Romney-Congressman Ryan, there are many of us that are willing to support you now and hopefully when you're in OUR White House, but right now you must, you need to focus on the next fifty-seven days. Time to get tough.

Told ya so!

In August I wrote my blog, "Here Comes Hate", highlighting all the hate, lies, and vitriol that will be coming from the Democrat party and their supporters. I also wrote that it will get worse as we get closer to the November election.

Well, the Democrats are pouring it on so bad that they're making me a prophet. As many have written and broadcasted before, President  Obama has absolutely nothing positive to campaign on to get reelected. Therefore he and his supporters are doing the only thing they can. They're smearing the Republican team with hatred and lies.

What do Rosie O'Donnell,  Michael Moore, Sean Penn, Rose Ann Barr, Louis Farrakhan, and many other Obama supporters have in common?  Well, they make millions here in our country while they vehemently avow their hatred for our country, and Governor Romney. One Democrat delegate at last week's DNC said she wanted to kill Governor Romney.

Along with these people that avow their hatred for our country and their opposition, we find many Democrat politicians that want you to believe that Republicans hate America. Again they do this in hopes that you will hate the Republicans so much that you will reelect Mr. Obama.

Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison even has the audacity to scream that Republicans hate America because, "the Republicans won't recognize Sharia Law". Really, Congressman Ellison?
Are you advocating that we embrace a law that allows the man of the house to beat and rape his wife as he chooses, slay his  wife if he feels she's dishonoring their marriage in any way he sees.
Sharia Law allows a father to slay his children, and call it "honor killings". And you want us to believe Republicans are full of hatred?

Further evidence of hatred are words spewing out of Congresswoman Pelosi and Senator Reid telling Americans that Republicans hate senior citizens, and will kill them by taking away their Medicare, and likening Republicans to the spreading of Eccoli.  I warned everyone that this was coming, and with only 58 days left the hatred will get worse emanating from the Democrats.

I've always been a big believer of the old adage, "actions speak louder than words". That being said let's revisit the Democratic National Convention of last week. A vote was taken about GOD, and the outcome of the voting left many of us asking, does this mean about half of the delegates have a strong dislike, maybe hatred, of GOD? Do we really want a party like this back in our White House?  Of course not.

I would never accuse President Obama of using any vile words of hatred, but is actions leave me a little wary of his love and support of our country.  Almost immediately after he took the  oath of office he traveled to foreign countries with his "apology tour".  It's hard for me to embrace the idea of the President of our country speaking to throngs of people in other countries,  accusing America of being "arrogant and dismissive", along with other degrading accusations.

Recently when President Obama and Russia's Medvedev thought they were off-microphone, President Obama stated, "after this election I can be more flexible with you". We're all guessing what our President meant by that statement, especially after we have just learned that Russia will not honor or impose any sanctions on Syria, and are in support of Syria's dictator Assad, who is slaughtering his own people.

To any of my critics who may read this blog I'd like to make an offer. Please respond to me with any facts of any Republican supporters that are spewing hatred toward our country, or for that matter, even toward their opposition.  I would venture to write that the only hatred, lies, and vitriol that will continue for the next 58 days will be coming from the Democrat side of the aisle. And that's because the current administration has nothing to run on.

It's time for all of us to wake up and do our own thinking about these campaigns, especially the lies, hatred, and vitriol President Obama's campaign is trying to stuff down the throats of Americans. Sure, our President is handsome, has a great personality, good family man, and is a great speaker. But do you honestly trust him with four more years, after all of his failed policies and broken promises of his first term? I think not.

Time to wake up folks, and think with your mind, not your heart. You know what our country needs to move our country out of the economic crisis President Obama has us in now. We need more than just a "suit" in our White House. time to rid of lies, hatred, and vitriol. America is better than that. Let's prove it in November.

I'll do it for you Mitt

Our GOP candidate, Governor Romney, is such a decent man, and has made it known that he will not run a campaign based on personal attacks or lies. Governor Romney has made it clear that is campaigning will be based on truth and facts, and his beliefs on what is good for the future of America.

However, and this is a gigantic HOWEVER, President Obama and his campaign advisers, along with the media, will not act in kind.  Because our President has no record or four-year accomplishments to campaign on, he has resorted to lies and personal attacks on his campaign stumps.

Therefore with fifty-nine days till the November election, I've decided to be the "bad guy", and do some attacking on our esteemed President. The difference is that everything I write in this blog will be the truth that President Obama and the media want to hide from you.

Let's get your wife, the first lady, out of the way first. This won't take many words. Your wife, the first lady, has a staff of twenty-two, the most of any other first lady. She has spent thousands of taxpayers' dollars on clothes and jewelry, and has spent over $10Million dollars on vacations. She has her own personal trainer that she flies in from Chicago on her schedule. Yet, you complain Mr. President that the first lady does not get paid while she's in the White House. Honestly, get paid for what Mr. President?

You have created a jobs czar, Jeffrey Immelt, that has seen right through you, and has jumped ship, and says he will now vote for Governor Romney.  Here's another CBO fact that the media won't tell Americans about: You have blamed President Bush for our economic failure, and yet when you took office Federal spending was 25% of GDP.  According to the CBO it is now at 66%, and it is projected to hit 70% of GDP by the end of 2012. 

Unemployment, under your watch is the highest it's been, consistently, since the Great Depression. Home ownership rate is now at 59.7%; the lowest since 1965.

Mr. President, where is your leadership. Even Democrats are screaming for you to stand up and lead, get off the basketball court, and off the golf course. Yes, you are likeable, you look good in a dark blue suit, and you're a great speaker. But what the heck have you done?

Are you really going to hang your legacy hat on Obamacare? If you would bother to listen to your jobs council you would find out that the U.S. is now seventh in global competitiveness. Did your advisers bother to tell that before you took office we were number one.

During your DNC speech last Thursday you seemed to be begging your base to "give me four more years....we've got more to do".  Mr. President, you haven't done anything at all to help our country rise up from the terrible economic ruin we're in now.  You did a lot of bloviating, bragging, and talking in generalities, but what is your plan? Haven't heard it yet.

Mr. President, you have to stop reading your press clippings, and quit listening to the media that fawns over you all the time. You should have been listening to the people instead, since you've been in office. Yes, right now, with the help of the media, people still put your popularity slightly ahead of Governor Romney, but it's fading fast.

Are you proud that you have increased our national debt by nearly $6.Trillion since you've been in office.  Your stimulus package of $853.Billion did nothing but raise the unemployment to over 8%; the longest unemployment consistency since the 1930's.

And please stop Biden with his rant that, "General Motors is back". GM has completely stopped production on the Chevy Volt, and GM still owes the taxpayers over $27.Billion. do you remember your ranting on how great the Volt was going to be for America? Another one of your great miscues.

I hold the office of the Presidency in very high esteem, but you Mr. Obama, as a man, are a disgrace to the office of the Presidency. To borrow a phrase from Clint Eastwood, "you are the biggest hoax ever to land on the American people".

Yes, right now you have many Americans "drinking the kool-aid", but we're getting smarter by the day. Hanging out with liberal Hollywood celebrities, that have no credibility, and no real agenda or platform, except for their celebrity status is certainly no endearing you to the 23 million Americans out of work.

Lastly, on purely personal views, I think you've stained the office of the Presidency, and I hope and pray others will join me in not voting for you because: (1) You, along with your administration have made every available effort to remove the names of GOD and JESUS CHRIST from our society. (2) Your far left leanings have me believe that you believe in Socialism, and if given four more years you will move us to Communism. (3) You have refused to offer help to those Islamic countries where their people are trying to over throw their murderous dictator, as in the case of Syria and Iran. (4) You have completely turned your back on the Jewish community and our greatest Middle Eastern ally, Israel.

Oh, I could go on and on, but this blog is too long already. I would like to bring up a "hidden concept" though. it's said that those that won't share important information to the public are usually those with something to hide. I refer, of course, to your college transcripts. We really don't care if you received A's, B's, C's in your courses, just show them to us. Could it be that your college grades will reveal you were a foreign student?

You know Mr. President, I really don't care where you were born.....I just care where you live now, and hope it's only for fifty-nine more days.

Liar-Liar, Pants on Fire

Wouldn't it have been great if our great professional journalists and broadcasters would have reported the news truthfully and factually last week during the Democrat National Convention? Maybe we would accept them if they would've reported the lies that came out of the speakers' mouths, especially from Bubba Clinton and the President.

Remember when Bubba Clinton, ever the self-server, said that the economy President Obama inherited was the worst ever, and even he, the great Bubba could not have solved the problem in just four years. Well, Mr. Clinton you get a very large pinocchio for an outright blatant lie.

The late, great Ronald Reagan inherited the worst economy ever since the great depression when he took over from President Carter. Prime loans were at 22%, the economy was sinking fast by the day.  Job growth was at an all-time low, and unemployment was 9%.

In four years President Reagan brought our country back into the plus side in all areas; dropping unemployment, lowering prime loan interest, and putting more Americans back to work. How did he do this? President Reagan realized that if you give investors, and corporations tax incentive through his "trickle down" policies, then more jobs would create jobs.

President Reagan believed that a person on unemployment and welfare could never create a job. Now that's something that President Obama and his staff should have adopted back in 2009.

President Obama continues to blame former President Bush, however, what has he done, especially in this past year?  He has not met with his appointed jobs council January of this year.  The bottom line is he has refused all suggestions from his jobs council. He hasn't even met with his Cabinet since his January State of the Union speech in January.

President Obama bragged last night about the country moving forward in the right direction.
I'll never be disrespectful and call our President a liar, but, he surely didn't check his facts, or the CBO before he walked on stage in Charlotte.

President Obama wanted to brag about all the jobs he created. The truth is he has lost more net jobs than he created since he's been in office. For every one job created, four Americans lost their jobs. In fact, Mr. Obama did not lay out a clear plan for the future. He just repeated the same promises that he made in 2008, that he has yet to keep. The labor force is down 63.5%, the worst ever in our history.

President Obama keeps"begging" for the American people to give him four more years, even though he said in 2010 that if he didn't turn around the economy it would be a one-term proposition for him. 

If you need any more proof that President Obama likens himself to a "rock star" just take a look at the Hollywood celebrities he paraded out to speak last night; Scarlett Johannsen, Eva Longoria, and Kerry Washington. Yeah, like the 23 millions of Americans out of work are going to relate to these Hollywood stars.  All three of these starlets were only there for display. Each of their speeches lacked substance. One "star" even wanted us to believe that the Republicans want to stop women from voting. Now who vetted her speech?

I'm not going to bore you with a bunch of numbers. You know what those numbers reflect, but I can't close without today's statistics. There's going to be a lot of left wing liberals in the media and in the White House  cheering for joy that the unemployment dropped to 8.1% from 8.3%. President Obama bragged that he created 4 million jobs since he took office.

Now, do you want the bare facts? Sure you do....like me, you love your country. The CBO has reported President Obama has net-lost more jobs than he created. The economic growth in the country has declined to the lowest our country has been in since the great depression.

What you also won't hear from the media, expect for Fox Cable News, is that 360,000 Americans quit the work force last month. This makes the true unemployment in reality is over 9.0% Another fact that last month only 96,000 jobs were created. This cannot keep up with the population growth or people entering the job market. 

Oh yes, let's not forget that of the 96,000 jobs created last month, only 14,000 were in the manufacturing sector. The Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to these facts, and just murmur, "still better than Bush".  I remember a promotion once where my new boss said to me, "congratulations, and by the way you've got three months to blame your predecessor for any problems you inherited....after that it's all your responsibility".

The general consensus of President Obama's speech last night is nice delivery, but no content, just recycled promises. One talk show host even said today, "was the President on stage, or was that just a hologram of him  from back in 2008"?

Can't leave the blog today without mentioning our favorite gaffe man Mr. Biden. Biden lambasted and attacked the Romney-Ryan team for wanting to have territorial taxes. He said it would destroy American economy.  Didn't someone tell the gaffer-in-chief that territorial taxes were suggested to President Obama by the Simpson-Bowles team and the jobs council? The President's response to Republican majority House leader at this suggestion was "there are consequences in everything Eric, and I won..I'm the President". Great answer huh folks? Yes, our President is sure looking out for us.

Yes, President Obama is a man of many words....just not his word. He must go.

No God in Charlotte?

It really doesn't matter if you're a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or any other political affiliation during this current election. I would never challenge your GOD-given right to believe anyway you want.

However, I was completely astounded watching the Democratic National Convention (DNC) last night on TV. It was difficult to believe there was an overwhelming loud vote to remove  the word GOD from the DNC platform speaking and views.

The vote was actually taken by a vote of yelling and screaming from the Democrat floor delegates. There was very strong speculation that the  yelling and screaming votes to remove the word  GOD from the DNC was actually louder than the yelling and screaming  to keep GOD in the platform.

Of course there are atheists and agnostics at the DNC, with the ACLU there to support them, and this is their 1st. Amendments rights. They have my respect, but also my strong disagreement and disappointment. 

There is strong speculation that President Obama instituted the request to remove  the word GOD from the speakers' platforms. Many have wondered why, especially since the President refused Catholic Cardinal Dolan to pray at the DNC.

Suddenly pressure began to mount from within the delegates that the word GOD should be inserted back into the speaking platform at the DNC. The oral arguing became so strong that a floor vote was taken yesterday from the Democrat delegates.

During this internal controversy a Muslim delegate was interviewed. He was in favor of removing the word GOD from the DNC speaking platforms. He ranted on so incessantly that to me didn't make any real sense, so I "TV remoted" him off.

I have a close friend who's agnostic. I even have a sister, who raised Catholic with me that is an agnostic. I have an acquaintance in California who has turned agnostic. When the subject of a GOD is brought up I refuse to argue, and just respond with, "someone put this all here".

To me it's very disheartening to know there are so many Americans, as Democrat delegates now in Charlotte, that want to remove GOD from their DNC.  Upon reading the United States Constitution, Bill of Rights, and our Declaration of Independence the word GOD is boldy acknowledged in writing. 

I have personally doubted GOD's decisions at times, and was even angry with him when my daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy. However, I never denied his existence and always believed in GOD, and always will.

I question all Americans to ask themselves if they want to allow this Democrat party, with President Obama at the helm, that doesn't want to speak of GOD, back in our White House?

The term "GOD-given rights", mean just that....we get our inalienable rights from GOD. Please remember that in 61 days as you walk into the voting booth.

Ryan, my wife, and I in Westlake

A few days ago I went online to download two tickets for my wife and I to see and hear Congressman Ryan at a rally in Westlake, Ohio.

Today, when I woke it was pouring down rain like I haven't seen in a while. I told my wife that maybe we two 77-year-olds should just stay home and watch the rally on TV. Her reply, "Oh no, we're going...get ready".  Still trying to convince her, I said "remember when we went to Bush's rally...we had to wait hours before he showed up"?  Again she said, "we're going...now get ready".  My wife always gets the last word. She was a General in her previous life.

To compromise she let me wear my U.S. Air Force baseball hat, and off we drove for over forty miles through the rain to Westlake. We arrived at 9:50 A.M., with doors opening at 10:00, and Congressman Ryan speaking at noon.

After standing in a very long line, going through scanners, showing picture I.D., we finally got inside the Westlake Recreation Center.  So there we stood, with approximately 2,500 other people waiting, waiting, waiting. At that time we had two hours to wait.

Suddenly, through the crowd Mayor Ruby of Brecksville came up to my wife and I, shook hands with us, and asked, "would you folks like a better view"? When I answered yes he asked us to follow him, pointing to the risers, behind where Congressman Ryan would speak. the mayor was so gracious, and when I jokingly asked, "is it because of my Air Force hat", he warmly replied, "oh yeah...gotta acknowledge our military people".

What a heartwarming, uplifting, and wonderful time we experienced. From our vantage point on the riser we had a full view of the entire auditorium. Honestly there were 2, 500-3,000 people in attendance. We met, shook hands, even hugged people we never met before. The mutual theme we all shared made all of us almost like family.

We met and shared experiences with retired police and fire men, retired military people, two people running for Ohio Congressional office, and just everyday people like my wife and I.
It was an experience I'll never forget.

After some uplifting speeches out walked the future Vice President of the United States, Congressman Paul Ryan. If we could've harnessed the energy in that recreation center we could've supplied Ohio for a month. It was fantastic. That was four hours ago, and my adrenalin is still going strong.

Congressman Ryan was flawless.  He knocked it out of the park.The cheering was deafining, showing Mr. Ryan how much we appreciated him coming here to speak to us. He strongly hit on the major five points he and Governor Romney were going to focus on beginning January, 2013.

If I could I would take everyone in this great country to a Romney or Ryan rally, and then take them all to see the documentary "2016".  I'm encouraging all, especially the Independents and the Undecideds, to get to a Romney or Ryan rally, then see the documentary "2016", and I'm sure you'll vote to put our current President on an indefinite vacation from OUR White House.

When the News-Herald gave me blogging privileges I said that all my blogs would be focused on removing our current President from the White House.  I ask everyone's help in doing this. Get the word out folks. The future of the country that we're going to pass onto our children and grandchildren depends on it.

Republicans and African-Americans

Can you guess what the following African-American Democrat Party activists and Congressional members have in common with the Republican Party; John Conyers, Charlie Rangel, Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpton, Maxine  Waters, Van Jones, Emanuel Cleaver, John Lewis, Keith Ellison, Donna Edwards, and more? Would you like to know what these African-American leaders have in common with the Republican Party, and why they're still Democrats?

Before we visit again this let me give you some important facts. Yes, pure facts.

In 1854 the Republican Party opposed the Kansas-Nebraska Act, supported by the Democrat Party. The Kansas-Nebraska Act supported the institution of slavery.

In 1861 Abraham Lincoln was elected to President, and continued the pursuit of freeing slavery in the United States.  The Democrat Party strongly supported slavery, and many Democrat states seceding from the Union, starting the infamous Civil War. One can only speculate that if the Democrat Party supported the abolishment of slavery would there have been a Civil War.

In 1863 President Lincoln passed the Emancipation Proclamation, which was strongly opposed to by the Democrat Party, that still overwhelmingly  supported slavery.

In 1865 the Republican Party passed the Thirteenth Amendment to abolish slavery forever. Republican Party support: 100. Democrat Party support: 23.

In 1866 the first Civil Rights Act was passed. The Republican Party support: 94, with the Democrat Party support: 0

In 1868 the Republican Party passed the Fourteenth Amendment that recognized freed slaves as U.S. citizens. The vote was Republican Party support: 100.  The Democrat Party support: 0.

In 1870 the Republican Party passed the Fifteenth Amendment allowing freed slaves the right to vote.  Republican Party support: 100.  Democrat Party support: 0.

In 1871  the Anti-KKK Act was passed to once again further the protection and rights of freed slaves. We must remember that in 1865 the KKK was considered the terrorist arm of the Democrats.

In 1875 the Civil Rights Act was passed as anti discrimination against African-Americans. The voting support was Republicans: 99, the Democrats: 0

In 1914 Democrat President Woodrow Wilson passed the act that instituted segregation in the Federal government and the military. This act reversed fifty years of the act of integration.

In 1915 Democrat President Woodrow Wilson showcased the movie"The Birth of a Nation-Epic Rise of the KKK" in the White House.

In 1922 the Anti-Lynching Bill was passed. There were 119 votes against upholding the Bill in the House of Representatives. Of the 119 votes against, the Democrat Party had 103 votes against the anti-lynching bill.

In 1957 President Eisenhower passed the first civil rights act in 82 years, with the Democrat Party in full fillibuster. the final tally was Republican support: 92, Democrat: 54.

In 1960 and 1964 two more civil rights acts were passed, and in both sessions the Democrats once again fillibustered. In both voting sessions the Republicans overwhelmed the voting support over the Democrat Party.

Since African-American leadership has joined the progressive Democrat Party there have been some outstanding statistics to review; African-American children born out of wedlock has risen 70%.  More African-American males incarcerated in jails and prisons than in college.  African-American unemployment has risen to 20%.  Of the 4,000 abortions performed each day 40% are African-Americans.

Since the beginning of all civil rights acts passed in Congress,  the Republican Party support has been 94%, while the Democrat support has been 35%.  Here is a good time to note that the greatest modern day civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., was a REPUBLICAN. I'm sure Dr. King could see how much the Republican Party has accomplished for all African-Americans.

It is a fact that the overwhelming majority of Africa-Americans are registered Democrats, and most are very strong anti-Republican.  However, with some good strong research the African-American community will discover more has been done for them since 1854 by the Republican Party than the Democrat Party they belong to. 

It's a strong wonder that African-Americans don't recognize how much gratitude and allegiance they owe the Republican Party, and how many questions they should have with their Democrat Party.
